Report: Manchester United to make £22m Lucas Moura bid

A report claims that Manchester United will launch a £22m bid for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura when the January transfer window opens.

Manchester United will reportedly launch a £22m move for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura when the winter transfer window opens in January.

The Brazilian came close to joining Man United from Sao Paulo in 2012, but Sir Alex Ferguson pulled the plug following a disagreement over price.

The 23-year-old has since made more than 130 appearances for his French outfit, but has often been left out of the big matches in recent seasons.

Man United were linked with a move for the attacker earlier this month and according to The Telegraph, the Premier League champions will submit an offer in excess of £20m in the upcoming window.

Arsenal and Liverpool are also believed to be closely monitoring proceedings.
