Manchester United will reportedly launch a £40m bid for Chelsea attacker Willian when the January transfer window opens for business.
Man United boss Jose Mourinho is said to share a close relationship with Willian, who was one of the few Chelsea players to impress under the Portuguese towards the start of last season.
A change in formation from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has seen Willian lose his spot in the first XI and according to the Daily Star, Mourinho is ready to pounce with a move for the Brazilian international.
Willian has not started a Premier League match since October 1 and was left out of the Blues squad for last weekend's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.
The 28-year-old joined Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer of 2013 and has scored 21 times in 149 appearances for the London club.
