Report: Liverpool lead Jamie Vardy race

Liverpool are supposedly the frontrunners to sign Jamie Vardy, should the striker decide to leave Leicester City.

Liverpool are reportedly the favourites to sign Leicester City's record-breaking striker Jamie Vardy.

The 29-year-old has made a big impression this season, thanks largely to the fact that he became the first ever player to score in 11 consecutive Premier League matches.

Since then it has been claimed that the England international has been watched by a host of clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, according to the Daily Star, it is Liverpool that currently lead the race.

While Vardy is not expected to leave the King Power Stadium this month, there have been suggestions that he may seek a move in the summer.
