According to Turkish sports paper Fanatik, the Toffees are interested in the 28-year-old, who joined the Red Devils from Wigan Athletic for £16m in 2009, but so too are the Super Lig champions.
The Italian, who was named as Fatih Terim's successor at the end of last month, is said to be keen on adding Valencia to his ranks at the Turk Telekom Arena, with reports hinting at a £12.5m move in January.
