Real Madrid will reportedly make a £145m approach for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe in the final 48 hours of the transfer window.

Real Madrid have reportedly not given up on signing Kylian Mbappe this summer and will make a £145m approach for the Paris Saint-Germain attacker in the final 48 hours of the transfer window.

PSG continue to insist that the 22-year-old is not for sale, but his contract in the French capital is due to expire next June, and it does not appear that the attacker will be penning an extension.

According to AS, Real Madrid - long seen as the favourites for Mbappe - will make their approach on August 30 and are prepared to offer up to £145m for the World Cup winner.

The report claims that Los Blancos forward Karim Benzema is in constant contact with his fellow Frenchman in the hope that a move can be agreed before the window closes for business.

Mbappe, who has also recently been linked with Manchester United, has allegedly been unnerved by Lionel Messi's arrival at Mauricio Pochettino's side.

The World Cup winner has scored 133 goals and registered 63 assists in 174 appearances for PSG since making the move from Monaco, while he has netted 17 times in 48 caps for his international team.
