Real Madrid will reportedly have to come up with an offer of €60m (£51m) if they wish to sign Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni during next summer's transfer window.
The 21-year-old's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all thought to be tracking him.
Meanwhile, a recent report claimed that Real Madrid were firmly in the race for the midfielder, who has recently become an important player for France despite only making his debut in September.
Tchouameni still has three years left to run on his contract with Monaco, but the Ligue 1 outfit could struggle to keep hold of him next year due to the growing interest in his services.
According to Marca, there is firm interest from Real Madrid, but Carlo Ancelotti's side would have to present an offer of at least €60m (£51m) to convince Monaco to let him leave in 2022.
The report claims that Premier League clubs currently have an advantage over Los Blancos due to the money that they would be able to place on the table next summer.
Tchouameni has scored five goals and registered four assists in 60 appearances for Niko Kovac's side.
