Former Manchester United centre-back Nemanja Vidic may reportedly be offered a return to the Premier League by Everton and Aston Villa during next month's transfer window.
The Serbian joined Inter Milan from United in 2014, but injuries have limited him to just 28 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit, none of which has been made this season.
As one of the club's highest earners, the Daily Star has claimed that Inter are eager to get the 34-year-old off the wage bill in January.
The report adds that news of Vidic's potential availability has captured the attention of Roberto Martinez and Remi Garde, both of whom are keen to bolster their defensive options this winter.
During his eight-year stint with United, Vidic won five Premier League titles, three League Cups and the Champions League once.
