Metz starlet Pape Sarr is reportedly undergoing a medical in France ahead of an imminent move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The midfielder is thought to have caught the eye of Spurs, Manchester City and Manchester United after becoming a mainstay of Frederic Antonetti's setup at just 18 years of age.
Tottenham were originally thought to be prioritising the signing of Nahitan Nandez from Cagliari, but the Lilywhites have supposedly ended their interest in the Uruguayan to focus on a deal for Sarr.
Now, Football Insider claims that a bid from Tottenham for the £28m-rated Senegal international has been agreed, and he is currently undergoing his medical in France before penning a six-year deal.
The report adds that Sarr will be loaned straight back to Metz for the remainder of the 2021-22 season, and the 18-year-old has had his sights set on a move to Spurs despite heavy interest from Champions League clubs.
Sarr already boasts four goals from 27 appearances at Metz and has started both of his side's Ligue 1 games against Lille and Nantes so far this term.
