Nordsjaelland defender Jores Okore has revealed that he rejected the chance to sign for Chelsea last January.
The 20-year-old, who is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the world, has admitted that the desire to play first-team football forced his hand.
Okore told TV2 Denmark: "I chose to turn it down (the Chelsea offer) as it did not fit the strategy I have for my future.
"My biggest wish is to play first-team football and that was not something that was on the cards."
Manchester United are also believed to be interested in the centre-back.
