Tottenham Hotspur assure new boss Nuno Espirito Santo that Harry Kane will not be leaving the club this summer, according to a report.

New Tottenham Hotspur boss Nuno Espirito Santo has reportedly been assured that Harry Kane will not be leaving the club this summer.

The 27-year-old is keen to seek pastures new in the current market, and a number of clubs, including Manchester City and Manchester United, continue to be credited with an interest.

However, according to the Daily Mail, incoming Spurs manager Nuno has been told that the club have no intention of allowing the England captain to leave ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

The report claims that the Portuguese is therefore preparing to have Kane in his team next season, with the capital outfit's chairman Daniel Levy set to resist offers.

Man City are believed to be prepared to pay a fee in the region of £100m for the centre-forward, but Levy is thought to value the club's star player in excess of £150m.

Kane has scored 221 goals in 336 appearances for Spurs in all competitions, including 33 goals in 49 outings during the 2020-21 campaign, while he also contributed 17 assists last term.

This summer, the striker has netted once in four appearances for England at Euro 2020.
