Report: Manchester United hope to re-sign Nemanja Vidic this summer

Nemanja Vidic is a summer transfer target for Manchester United, according to reports.

Manchester United are interested in re-signing Nemanja Vidic, according to reports.

The Serbian defender left Old Trafford at the end of last season after eight years at the club to join Inter Milan, but he has struggled to find regular football in Serie A this season.

The Daily Star says that United boss Louis van Gaal wants to bring Vidic back to the Premier League, a rumour further fuelled by his agent, who said that he didn't know where Vidic will be playing next season.

Vidic played 211 times for United between 2006 and 2014.
