Roma have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester United winger Nani, although his lofty wage demands may block a move.
The 28-year-old will return to Old Trafford this summer following a season-long loan stint at Sporting Lisbon, where he impressed by scoring 11 goals in 35 appearances.
Despite the relatively rich return in front of goal, it has been suggested that the Portugal international is not a part of Louis van Gaal's future plans.
Inter Milan were said to be leading the battle to land Nani's signature, although The Mirror claims that Roma are also interested in the £10m-rated player.
However, the same report also suggests that his £100,000-a-week wages is something that the Serie A club are unwilling to match, which could scupper any bid.
