Manchester United's hopes of signing Leon Goretzka have reportedly been dealt a blow as the midfielder is set to sign a new long-term contract with Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils are believed to be in the market for a central midfielder and were made aware of Goretzka's contract situation stalling earlier this month.
However, according to the Daily Mail the German has now agreed to sign a new five-year deal with the Bundesliga champions worth around £13m per year.
Goretzka made 32 appearances across all competitions for Bayern last season, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists.
United are now understood to be targeting Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga who is valued at around £34m as has less than a year remaining on his contract.
Atletico Madrid's Saul is another player on their radar, though they could face competition from the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool for the Spaniard's signature.
