Manchester United 'learn Marash Kumbulla price'

Manchester United will have to come up with an offer of £22.9m if they wish to sign Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla, according to a report.

Manchester United have reportedly been made aware that they will have to come up with an offer of €25m (£22.9m) if they wish to sign Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla this summer.

The Red Devils are thought to have identified the 20-year-old as a possible transfer target having been impressed by his form for Verona during the 2019-20 campaign.

Indeed, the youngster has scored once in 19 appearances for his Italian club this season.

According to Passione Inter, United, who have kept nine clean sheets in their last 11 matches in all competitions, have been told that the price for the centre-back is €25m (£22.9m).

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are thought to be keen to further improve their defence this summer despite spending big on Harry Maguire ahead of the current season.

Manchester City have also previously been credited with an interest in the Albania international, who has a contract with his current club until the summer of 2022.
