Manchester United and Manchester City are both reportedly considering moves for Hellas Verona centre-back Marash Kumbulla during this summer's transfer window.
Last month, it was claimed that United were interested in signing the 19-year-old, who has scored once in 18 appearances for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign.
Kumbulla, who has a contract with his current club until the summer of 2022, was born in Italy but plays his international football for Albania, making his debut in October 2019.
According to Tuttosport, the Red Devils are likely to face competition from bitter rivals City if they decide to pursue a move at the end of the current season.
Pep Guardiola's side will allegedly look to sign two new centre-backs this summer having struggled defensively throughout the campaign.
United, meanwhile, are also thought to be considering improving in that area of the field despite spending big on Harry Maguire in last summer's transfer window.
