Manchester United have been given the green light to sign Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder, according to reports.
It had previously been suggested that Juventus were looking to bring the Dutch veteran to Turin, but the Serie A giants reportedly pulled the plug on the deal.
According to The Daily Star, the Old Lady's decision to discontinue their pursuit of Sneijder has given Man Utd renewed hope to make a move for the 30-year-old.
Sneijder played under Louis van Gaal at the World Cup finals in Brazil when both were part of the Netherlands' setup.
