Report: Manchester United join race to sign Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante

Manchester United join Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain in pursuing Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante, according to reports.

Manchester United have joined the race to sign Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante and are prepared to trigger his £22m release clause, according to reports.

The 25-year-old Frenchman, currently playing for his home nation at Euro 2016, was instrumental in the Foxes' surprise Premier League win last season.

According to The Mirror, Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho wants Kante to add steel and energy to his midfield as he continues his plans to rebuild after the £30m signing of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

Kante, who is also said to be on the radar of Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, was signed by Leicester for just £5.6m from French club Caen last August.
