Manchester United 'in final £35m bid for Everton duo'

Manchester United reportedly improve their bid for Everton duo Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines to £35m.

Manchester United have reportedly tabled a final £35m offer for Everton pair Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines.

The Premier League champions' opening offer of £28m was described as "derisory and insulting" by the Merseyside outfit, considering that Fellaini's expired release clause was worth £23.5m.

It is understood that United are prepared to up their bid, valuing Fellaini at £20m and Baines at £15m, but if rejected they have no plans to return with a larger sum, according to the Herald.

It has been claimed that United manager David Moyes will launch a separate deal for Baines if Everton fail to budge on their stance regarding Fellaini.
