Report: Manchester United bid £50m for Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller

Manchester United are reportedly seeking to lodge an offer in the region of £50m for Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller.

Manchester United have made Bayern Munich an offer in the region of £50m to bring Thomas Muller to Old Trafford, according to reports.

Notable figures at the Bundesliga club, including Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, have issued a number of hands-off warnings to possible suitors in recent weeks.

According to Kicker, however, the Red Devils are hoping that a £50m offer for the World Cup winner will be enough to tempt Bayern into letting him go.

Muller has scored 121 goals in 304 outings for the Bavarians.
