Manchester United are reportedly ready to push for Jadon Sancho to be moved on in January following his banishment from the first team by Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United have reportedly expressed their readiness to offload Jadon Sancho in January following his banishment from the first team by Erik ten Hag.

After United's 3-1 loss to Arsenal last month, the manager revealed that Sancho's omission was due to poor performances in training.

The England international disputed Ten Hag's claims via a social media post that essentially implied the manager was lying, though the post was deleted a short while later.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are now looking to offload the player in the next transfer window if he refuses to apologise to the manager and coaching staff - but there is no solid indication of any such apology forthcoming yet.

Since Sancho's omission from the team, Ten Hag has also pointed out that the winger's influence on teammates was a further cause for concern and that the attitudes of other players have improved in his absence.

The report adds that the club are so eager to offload the player that they are willing to subsidise a portion of his wages, which is believed to be in the region of £300,000 per week.

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus have been linked with possible moves for the player in January, though it is believed that neither side are prepared to meet the £60m valuation.

Despite the international break seeming like an ideal period for both parties to reconcile, Manchester United's leadership is not actively promoting the reintegration of the 23-year-old winger.

Sancho has netted 12 goals in 82 matches for Manchester United, which is a notable difference from the 50 goals he achieved in 137 appearances for Dortmund.
