Manchester United are reportedly still pursuing moves for Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier and Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in the current market.
The Red Devils have spent big on Jadon Sancho this summer, while the club have also agreed a deal to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid, which will take their spending to over £100m.
However, according to ESPN, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side still want to boost their squad with the signings of Trippier and Camavinga.
Trippier is allegedly quietly confident of securing a move to Old Trafford before the window closes, with the England international prepared to remain patient when it comes to a possible switch to Manchester.
Camavinga, meanwhile, continues to be linked with a number of clubs, including Real Madrid, as the 18-year-old only has one year left to run on his contract with Rennes.
The midfielder - already capped on three occasions by France - has made 82 appearances for his French side in all competitions, including 39 outings during the 2020-21 campaign.
