Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to battle for the signature of Brentford playmaker Christian Eriksen.
The Denmark international has enjoyed a spectacular return to the top level since his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 and already has a goal and assist to his name from four Premier League matches this term.
Eriksen's return to the Denmark squad last month also saw him score in two friendlies with the Netherlands and Serbia, and he is only under contract at Brentford until the summer.
Thomas Frank has confirmed that he wants to keep Eriksen on the books for the 2022-23 season onwards, but the Daily Mail claims that Man United and both Spurs could swoop in should the 30-year-old become available on a free transfer.
Current Spurs boss Antonio Conte is familiar with Eriksen from their time together at Inter Milan, and the midfielder amassed 69 goals and 90 assists in 305 games for Spurs between 2013 and 2020.
Eriksen endured a tough time of things at Inter Milan, though, registering just eight goals and three assists in 60 matches for the Nerazzurri.
