Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Manchester United.
Seri has been watched by a number of top European teams since helping Nice to third place in Ligue 1 last season, with Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain having all been previously linked with the Ivory Coast international.
However, according to The Mirror, United boss Jose Mourinho has started to place more focus on attempting to sign the 26-year-old before the start of next season.
Recent reports have suggested that Mourinho has fallen out with star man Paul Pogba, and the possibility remains that the club's record signing could leave Old Trafford during the summer.
United would likely demand over £100m for Pogba, but Seri will be available for less than half that fee with just 17 months remaining on his contract.
Seri has only netted one goal in 32 appearances in all competitions this season.
