Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Djurgardens IF midfielder Lucas Bergvall.
The 17-year-old has already made 29 first-team appearances for his Swedish club, scoring three times and registering one assist in the process.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the youngster's future in recent weeks, with Barcelona believed to have scouted him ahead of a potential move.
Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund are also among the clubs to be credited with an interest in the midfielder, but according to Fussball News, Man United are also firmly in the race.
The report claims that the 20-time English champions have made their interest known to the club and the player, and Erik ten Hag's side feel that they have an advantage over other teams.

Bergvall is said to have been on trial at Man United at the age of 14, and Djurgardens are believed to be prepared to sell the teenager should an offer of between €8m (£7m) and €10m (£8.6m) be received.
The midfielder has featured on 25 occasions in Sweden's top flight, scoring twice and registering two assists in the process.
Man United are expected to be busy during this summer's transfer window, with incoming minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe preparing to oversee the signings of a number of players.
At least one central midfielder will arrive, but it is likely that there will be more signings in that area of the field, as Casemiro, Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen are all being linked with exits.

Casemiro is expected to have lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia this summer, with the 31-year-old believed to be seeking a fresh challenge at this stage of his career.
Sofyan Amrabat is only on loan from Fiorentina, meanwhile, and it is thought that the Red Devils are leaning away from a permanent move for him at this stage.
Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo are certainties to stay at Man United this summer in terms of midfielders, but another experienced option could be signed alongside Bergvall.
Ratcliffe is also said to be planning to bring an elite striker to Old Trafford, with Anthony Martial set to leave on a free transfer at the end of his contract.
A right-back and centre-back are also expected to join the club during this summer's transfer window, but it remains to be seen whether European football will be on offer next season to potential new signings.
