Manchester United are reportedly hopeful that they will be able to sign Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado by the weekend.
When recently asked about the speculation that had linked the Colombian international with a move to Old Trafford, La Viola head coach Vincenzo Montella insisted that he expected the 26-year-old to stay put.
However, United remain keen on Cuadrado and will shortly lodge a £32m bid in an attempt to convince their Italian counterparts into parting with his services, according to The Express.
The report added that United manager Louis van Gaal is eager to have Cuadrado in his squad for Sunday's Premier League trip to Sunderland.
Both Barcelona and AC Milan have also been linked with the former Udinese wideman.
