Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic remains a transfer target for Manchester United, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly in the hunt to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Red Devils are expected to sign at least one new central midfielder during this summer's transfer window, with Paul Pogba set to move on following the expiration of his contract.

Man United have long been linked with Milinkovic-Savic, and there is again widespread speculation surrounding the 27-year-old's future, with his current deal due to expire in June 2024.

According to journalist Nicolo Ceccarini, the 20-time English champions 'should not be overlooked' as an option to sign the Serbia international in the upcoming market.

Ceccarini claims that Lazio would be 'open to a sale' if they received a 'big offer' during this summer's transfer window due to the midfielder's contract situation.

Milinkovic-Savic has again been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring eight goals and registering 10 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.

In addition to Pogba, Man United could move Donny van de Beek on at the end of the season, with the Netherlands international not believed to have a long-term future at Old Trafford.
