Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat this summer, with Barcelona also interested in the player.
The 26-year-old caught the eye for Morocco as they reached the semi-finals of last year's World Cup in Qatar and has continued to impress in Italy since, appearing 29 times in Serie A as Fiorentina finished eighth.
Having made the switch from Hellas Verona in 2020, the midfielder has gone on to play over 100 times for Viola, helping the club secure a place in the Europa Conference League final against West Ham United on Wednesday night.
According to SPORT, Manchester United are in the hunt for Amrabat's services this summer, with the Premier League club making contact with the player over a potential move.
Despite interest from the Red Devils, it is claimed that Amrabat's preferred destination is Barcelona, although Xavi's men could face a hard time in agreeing a deal amid their financial issues.
The Catalonians have made the arrival of a new central midfielder their top priority after Sergio Busquets confirmed he would be leaving Camp Nou at the end of the campaign - the La Liga champions are also said to be plotting a move to bring Lionel Messi back to the club.
