Manchester City reportedly remain determined to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland, despite agent Mino Raiola demanding a £47m commission fee.

Manchester City are reportedly still desperate to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland next summer, despite his agent Mino Raiola demanding £47m commission as part of any deal.

Haaland's future is set to be the biggest talking point of next summer's transfer window, with the prolific forward available for £68m due to a release clause in his contract.

A who's who of Europe's biggest clubs are interested in signing the 21-year-old, with the likes of Man City, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Bayern Munich among those to have been linked with a move.

However, Haaland's wage demands mean that only a handful of clubs could afford the Norwegian, despite the relatively modest transfer fee it would take to secure his services.

The Daily Star reports that Raiola will also demand a £47m fee for brokering the deal - a sum he would split with Haaland's father Alf-Inge Haaland and a similar amount to the fee he earned when Paul Pogba rejoined Manchester United in 2016.

However, Man City are reportedly willing to pay that sum in order to secure Haaland's services, having failed to bring in a replacement for Sergio Aguero last summer.

Haaland has scored 74 goals and created 20 more in just 73 appearances for Dortmund across all competitions.
