Liverpool will reportedly not make an attempt to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland during this summer's transfer window.
The 20-year-old is widely expected to leave BVB in the upcoming market, and a number of clubs are said to be in the running for his signature.
A report claimed that Haaland's representatives were due to fly to England on Friday to hold transfer talks with Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
However, according to Football Insider, the reigning Premier League champions will not be in the running for the forward's signature this summer.
The report claims that Jurgen Klopp's side are 'working on multiple deals' ahead of the transfer window, but they are not planning a big-money move for Haaland.
The Norway international has scored 49 times in 49 appearances for BVB in all competitions, including 33 goals in 31 outings during the current season.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are both believed to have met with Haaland's agent Mino Raiola and his father Alf-Inge Haaland on Thursday to discuss a possible switch to La Liga.
