Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm has said that he cannot guarantee Thomas Muller will be at the club next season amid reported interest from Manchester United.
United have already signed Bastian Schweinsteiger from the German champions and have been linked with a £70m bid for striker Muller.
When asked about the potential move in Shanghai ahead of Bayern's pre-season friendly with Inter Milan, Lahm told reporters: "It's not my decision. Things can happen very quickly in football.
"I certainly can't provide any guarantee for Thomas Muller [staying]."
Lahm also said that there was no chance he would follow Schweinsteiger in leaving Munich.
"That's not going to happen with me," he said. "I'm pleased that I've been able to spend practically all my career at home."
German international Muller has scored 13 Bundesliga goals in three straight seasons for Bayern.
