Inter Milan are considering a move for Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic if Cristian Chivu decides to leave at the end of the season, according to talkSPORT.
The Italian side are believed to be waiting on 31-year-old Chivu to make a decision on where his future lies before his current contract expires.
Former Serbia international Vidic is lined up as a possible replacement if the full-back chooses to depart the San Siro.
Despite the rumoured interest, Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to reject any advances for the Premier League champions' captain.
