Inter Milan reportedly have no plans to let star striker Lautaro Martinez leave the club this summer, amid interest from the likes of Arsenal.
The 24-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from San Siro, with a number of clubs including the Gunners, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid believed to have registered their interest.
However, the player's agent has recently suggested that his client is not seeking a transfer this summer and he is happy to play for Inter next season.
Gazzetta dello Sport now claims that the Serie A giants are desperate to keep hold of Martinez even though they may need to make a big-money sale to meet their financial targets.
The report adds that the striker will not look to force through a transfer in the same way Romelu Lukaku did before joining Chelsea last summer.
Martinez, who is under contract until June 2026, has been an important player for title-chasing Inter this season, scoring 23 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
