Manchester United are set to offer Harry Maguire a bumper new contract worth £300k a week at Old Trafford, according to a report.
The 28-year-old is currently sidelined with a calf injury but has established himself as an integral member of the Red Devils backline under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer alongside Raphael Varane.
Maguire had played the full 90 minutes in his side's first five Premier League matches of the season before picking up the problem against Aston Villa, with the centre-back forced to miss England's October World Cup qualifiers as a result.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils want to reward Maguire's performances with a lucrative new deal, which would see him bumped up to wages of £300k per week alongside top earners such as David de Gea.
The report claims that United chiefs have already opened talks with Maguire over a new deal, with the club hoping that he will commit his future to Old Trafford until 2026.
Maguire's existing deal is not due to expire until 2025, and the ex-Leicester City man has chalked up five goals and five assists from 114 appearances for United in all competitions.
