Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini is reportedly poised to hand in a transfer request in a bid to push through a move to Manchester United.
The Belgium international was the subject of a joint £28m bid, including full-back Leighton Baines, from the Red Devils, which was swiftly rejected by the Toffees.
While Everton have insisted that they want both players to stay put at Goodison Park, Fellaini will formally ask to leave the club today, according to The Express.
Fellaini's position at the club could be affected if Everton manage to sign Wigan Athletic midfielder James McCarthy.
