Borussia Dortmund are reportedly refusing to lower their asking price for Manchester United target Jadon Sancho after Chelsea spent £71m to sign Kai Havertz.
BVB have been insistent all summer that the 20-year-old will not be allowed to join United unless his valuation - thought to be around £108m - is met in full.
Despite supposedly making a breakthrough in talks with the attacking talent on Wednesday, the Red Devils are running out of time to agree terms with Dortmund ahead of the transfer window closing on October 5.
According to The Guardian, United have no hope of getting Dortmund to reconsider their valuation, with the German club now even more determined to raise a nine-figure sum.
It is suggested that Lucien Favre's side believe Sancho is worth considerably more than Havertz, who swapped Bayer Leverkusen for Chelsea in a big-money deal last week.
England international Sancho scored and assisted a combined 37 goals in the Bundesliga and Champions League last season.
