Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele join Chelsea on a free transfer next summer, according to a report.

Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele could reportedly reject offers from a number of clubs to join Chelsea on a free transfer next summer.

The France international's current deal at Barcelona is due to expire next June, meaning that, as it stands, he will be free to hold discussions with foreign clubs at the start of 2022.

Manchester United and Newcastle United continue to be credited with an interest in the World Cup winner, while Juventus are also believed to be desperate to sign him on a free transfer.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the presence of Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea could lead to the attacker making the move to Stamford Bridge.

Barcelona allegedly 'suspect' that Tuchel is behind the London club's interest, as the German managed Dembele at Borussia Dortmund during the 2016-17 campaign, and the pair are said to have a strong relationship.

The 24-year-old has only made four appearances for his current side during the 2021-22 campaign, having picked up a hamstring injury after working his way back from a long-term knee issue.
