Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado is reportedly close to joining Barcelona after the player's agent confirmed that there had been talks held between the two parties.
The 26-year-old, who enjoyed an impressive World Cup with Colombia this summer, has also been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United of late.
A report in Spanish publication Sport claims that Cuadrado would prefer a move to the Camp Nou, however, and would be willing to force through a transfer if he has to.
His agent, Alessandro Lucci, is quoted by the Daily Star as saying: "I've been in direct contact with Barcelona and with other clubs. They showed interest but now there are no negotiations in place, not with Barcelona or any other clubs."
Cuadrado joined Fiorentina in 2012 where he has gone on to make 68 appearances for the Serie A side.
