Bayern Munich have reportedly decided that Manchester United-linked Kingsley Coman will not be sold in the January transfer window.
With the Red Devils' long running pursuit of Jadon Sancho failing to come to anything, Coman was seen as one of the alternatives to the Borussia Dortmund man for Man United.
The France international is contracted to Bayern until 2023, but questions over Coman's long-term future in Bavaria were asked during the most recent window.
However, according to Sky Deutschland, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has ruled out a January sale following Coman's impressive start to the 2020-21 campaign.
The 24-year-old has already bagged five goals and set up eight more for Hansi Flick's side in all competitions this term, including three strikes and two assists from four Champions League matches.
Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele and Juventus' Douglas Costa were also tipped to make the switch to Old Trafford in the summer, but the former remained at Camp Nou while Costa returned to Bayern on loan.
