Gareth Bale allowed to leave Real Madrid?

Gareth Bale will be allowed to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, according to a report.

The Welshman, who moved the Bernabeu from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 for a then-world record fee of £85m, has been plagued by injury so far this season, having made just seven appearances across La Liga and the Champions League.

Manchester United are reportedly keen to bring the player back to England, with the Red Devils said to be willing to part with £50m for the 28-year-old.

According to Diario Gol, club president Florentino Perez has now come to an agreement with Bale over an exit next summer, although the club may be unwilling to take a hit upwards of £30m represented by United's supposed valuation.

Spurs have also been credited with an interest in bringing Bale back to London.
