Ander Herrera is reportedly unhappy that his contract situation at Manchester United has dragged into the closing weeks of the season, with PSG waiting to pounce.

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is reportedly 'infuriated' by his contract situation at Manchester United.

The 29-year-old, like teammate and compatriot David de Gea, has been locked in talks with the Red Devils for a number of months.

Unlike De Gea, though, Herrera's deal is due to expire in the summer, meaning that he is currently able to discuss terms with foreign clubs.

Paris Saint-Germain are believed to have taken advantage of that by offering the twice-capped Spain international a three-year contract worth £145,000 a week.

According to the Daily Mail, discussions with United over a counter-offer have reached an impasse and Herrera is unhappy that it has got to this point, especially with the transfer saga being played out in public.

Herrera is one of five United players out of contract in July, along with Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and James Wilson.

Ten others will become free agents next summer as things stand, meanwhile, PSG target De Gea among them.
