Agent Joao Santos has suggested that Napoli midfielder Jorginho would welcome a move to the Premier League at the end of the season, but no offers have been forthcoming.
The Italy international has been most strongly linked with Manchester United, while Manchester City and Liverpool are also rumoured suitors.
Santos insisted earlier this month that, contrary to press reports, no official contact has yet been made between United and Jorginho's camp.
Offering another update on his client's future, Santos teased English clubs with talk of a possible cut-price deal in the summer.
"I was in Manchester for several days and I have to say that Jorginho did better [for Italy] against England," he told Radio Crc. "A future in England? He has a certain value for Napoli, a certain figure that almost only Premier League clubs can afford.
"Moreover, he can't be sold to another club in Italy. He's being followed by big teams and that's normal because he plays at the highest levels for Napoli, plus we're talking about an international player now.
"To date, no official offers have arrived. Jorginho's only thinking about Napoli and we must wait until the end of the season to make certain assessments. As for Napoli, we haven't received a contract offer from them yet.
"A release clause? I don't agree with them. Napoli want to set it at €100m, while we want it at €20m. It's best to just not put one in."
Jorginho, who joined Napoli from Verona in 2014, has four goals and two assists in 24 Serie A outings this season.
