Will De Bruyne start his last derby? Predicted Man City XI vs. Man United

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Sunday's Premier League Manchester derby with Manchester United.

Departing Manchester City legend Kevin De Bruyne will enjoy one final experience of Manchester derby day in Sunday's trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League.

The 33-year-old confirmed on Friday that he would be leaving the English champions at the end of his contract this summer, having seen his powers wane during his final season in Manchester.

Pep Guardiola will no doubt face calls from supporters to start De Bruyne for his last derby, but with Champions League football still on the line, the City boss will not give in to sentimentality.

Instead, Jack Grealish should reprise his role after finally netting his first Premier League goal of the season in the midweek win over Leicester City, where Omar Marmoush also got in on the act.

The Egyptian will act as the focal point of the attack while Erling Haaland recovers from an ankle injury, while Savinho and Jeremy Doku ought to keep Phil Foden at bay and terrorise Patrick Dorgu and Diogo Dalot out wide.

Nico Gonzalez and Ilkay Gundogan seem to have established themselves as Guardiola's first-choice midfield pairing, but the Spaniard is facing a couple of quandaries in defence, as Abdukodir Khusanov should return to the squad after being rested against Leicester.

However, FA Cup hero Nico O'Reilly put in a good shift in midweek and has done all he can to hold his spot at left-back, so Khusanov may have to be content with a place on the bench as Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias link arms ahead of Ederson.

Manchester City possible starting lineup:
Ederson; Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O'Reilly; Gundogan, Gonzalez; Savinho, Grealish, Doku; Marmoush
