Team News: Robin van Persie ruled out for Manchester United

Manchester United are without Robin van Persie and Nemanja Vidic for this afternoon's Premier League meeting with Cardiff City.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has been left out of their squad for this afternoon's Premier League match against Cardiff City.

The Dutchman has been ruled out through injury, with Javier Hernandez starting in his place, while Nemanja Vidic is still out after suffering from concussion.

Cardiff striker Peter Odemwingie has recovered from a muscle injury to start, while Andreas Cornelius is named on the bench after being sidelined since August with an ankle injury.
