Sports Mole's Premier League Team of the Week

Manchester United saw their lead at the top of the Premier League table cut to five points this weekend following their 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur.

Champions Manchester City did what they needed to do on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Fulham before the Red Devils conceded late at White Hart Lane to end their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Chelsea put the disappointment of Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Southampton behind them as they saw off Arsenal 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.

At the bottom of the table Queens Park Rangers picked up a valuable point at West Ham United, while Reading got one over on fellow strugglers Newcastle United.

Aston Villa let a two-goal lead slip in their 2-2 draw with neighbours West Bromwich Albion and a Steven Fletcher-inspired Sunderland saw off Wigan Athletic.

Following another unpredictable program of Premier League action, Sports Mole picks out its team of the week.

David De Gea (Man Utd)
Yes, the Spaniard was at fault for Tottenham's late equaliser, but he also pulled off a string of fine saves at White Hart Lane to stop Spurs running away with the match.

Clint Hill (QPR)
He may not be the most glamourous of players in the Premier League, but Hill got his side out of jail a number of times during their draw at West Ham.
Vincent Kompany (Man City)
City's skipper was composure personified in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Fulham.

Silva ran the show against Fulham as his two goals got City's weekend off to a good start at the Etihad Stadium.

It was as strong a performance that the Liverpool skipper has given this season to help his side thump Norwich 5-0 at Anfield.

The Brazilian was a relentless presence in midfield during Chelsea's vital 2-1 win over Arsenal.
Charles N'Zogbia (Aston Villa)
Villa fans have rarely seen the best of N'Zogbia since his move from Wigan, but he put in a tireless display out wide in Saturday's 2-2 draw at West Brom.
