Saturday's Premier League football predictions including Liverpool vs. Aston Villa

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Liverpool vs. Aston Villa.

Man City vs. Wolves (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Having seen their seven-game unbeaten run come to an abrupt end in midweek, Manchester City welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola's men went down 2-1 to RB Leipzig in midweek, while the visitors were undone by a late Liverpool winner at Molineux last weekend.

We say: Manchester City 2-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Scoring goals has been a major issue for this Wolves team in recent weeks, but they will hope to see their new-found defensive solidity come to the fore against a City side dealing with a number of attacking absentees.

However, many of Guardiola's big-hitters are well-rested and need no added incentive to get the job done and hold their position at the top, so we expect a professional performance and victory for the home side.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Arsenal vs. Southampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

With the pressure weighing heavier on Mikel Arteta's shoulders, Arsenal aim to return to winning ways during Saturday lunchtime's Premier League clash with Southampton at the Emirates.

The Gunners fell to a 2-1 defeat to Everton in midweek, while Ralph Hasenhuttl's side were forced to settle for a point against Brighton & Hove Albion.

We say: Arsenal 2-0 Southampton

Given Arsenal's consistent spell of good fortunes at home and Southampton's inability to make their travels worthwhile, this is the perfect opportunity for the Gunners to return to winning ways - not that it will do much good for Arteta's standing with the fans.

Should the Gunners learn from their mistakes of the past few weeks and attempt to kill the game off if 1-0 up, we ought to see Arteta's side return to winning ways in comfortable fashion.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Chelsea vs. Leeds (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Chelsea will aim to bounce back from a difficult week when they welcome Leeds United to Stamford Bridge for Saturday's Premier League fixture.

The Blues have now dropped to third in the table, while Marcelo Bielsa's side occupy 15th spot after drawing 2-2 with Brentford last time out.

We say: Chelsea 3-0 Leeds United

The last thing that Leeds needed before a trip to Stamford Bridge was a spate of fresh injury concerns, which Tuchel will expect his side to take advantage of in front of the home crowd.

Bielsa has steadied the Whites' ship slightly in recent weeks, but we do not expect Chelsea's misery to be prolonged any longer - this ought to be a routine return to winning ways for the Blues.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Liverpool vs. Aston Villa (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Seeking a seventh win on the bounce in all competitions, Liverpool welcome Steven Gerrard back home for Saturday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

The Reds saw off AC Milan 2-1 in the Champions League in midweek, while the visitors triumphed over Leicester City by the same scoreline last weekend.

We say: Liverpool 3-1 Aston Villa

Gerrard is yet to completely shore up this Villa defence, and a first-choice Liverpool XI - many of whom are well-rested - will likely give the visitors a harsh dose of reality on Saturday.

There can be no room for sentimentality upon Gerrard's return to Anfield, but his side are highly unlikely to compete with a near full-strength Liverpool team away from home.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Norwich vs. Man Utd (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Manchester United will be looking to make it three Premier League victories in a row when they head to Carrow Road on Saturday to take on basement side Norwich City.

The Red Devils, who have beaten Arsenal and Crystal Palace in their last two league fixtures, are currently sixth in the table, while Norwich are bottom with 10 points to show from their 15 matches.

We say: Norwich City 1-3 Manchester United

There have been a lot of positive signs at Man United under Rangnick, and the Red Devils will be in a confident mood ahead of Saturday's contest. Norwich are more than capable of making this a difficult game for the visitors, but are expecting Man United to pick up all three points courtesy of a 3-1 success.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
