Manchester United are now without a win in their last six games in all competitions after losing 2-1 at home to Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Goals from Cameron Jerome and Alexander Tettey saw the visitors lead by two goals early in the second period, but Anthony Martial had one back for the hosts 25 minutes from time.

That was where the scoring ended, however, as Man United dropped out of the top four in the Premier League after another disappointing result.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each player performed at Old Trafford.

MAN UNITED

Goal

David de Gea: Should have done much better for Cameron's opener and was also caught a little flat-footed for Norwich's second. Did make a decent stop late on, however. (5/10)

Defence

Ashley Young: Not sure what the Englishman was doing for the Norwich opener, while he never really looked comfortable in the right-back position. Spent most of the game driving forward. (5/10)

Phil Jones: Brought back into the team in central defence and managed to last the game without getting injured. Decent enough at the back, but was not a threat aerially inside the Norwich box. (6/10)

Chris Smalling: Really should have scored late on with a low header, but was not his usual calming self at the back. The pick of the United back four, but that was not exactly too difficult a task. (6/10)

Daley Blind: Did his best to drive forward when the opportunity arose, but the Dutchman's severe lack of pace in a wide area allowed Nathan Redmond to cause problems down the right for Norwich. (5/10)

Midfield

Michael Carrick: Not the player that he was last season. Usually so keen to pass the ball into his front players, but the midfielder did not look up for it when his team needed him most. (5/10)

Marouane Fellaini: Just not a Manchester United midfielder. Won a couple of aerial balls, but was poor in possession and always seemed to be late with his challenges. Subbed. (5/10)

Juan Mata: Showed bits and pieces of his quality, but he drifted in and out of the game. Needs to do more in these type of matches, but he was far from the worst player in red. (6/10)

Attack

Memphis Depay: Started the game really well as he fired one over the crossbar and caused problems in a wide area, while the Dutchman did deliver some excellent crosses in the second period. (6/10)

Wayne Rooney: Robbed of possession for Norwich's second and could not seem to control the ball for long stages of the match. Back in the team, but once again looked off the pace in attack. (4/10)

Anthony Martial: So comfortably Man United's best player that it was embarrassing. The only one who looked capable of causing problems. Scored once and could have had a couple more. (7/10)

Substitutes

Ander Herrera: Man United looked a better team when he was brought on for the final 30 minutes. Was busy in the middle of the park and provided the energy that the hosts so desperately lacked. (6/10)

NORWICH CITY

Goal

Declan Rudd: Was not really called into action until the latter stages and the stopper looked calm and confident between the sticks. Justified his manager's decision to start him over John Ruddy. (6/10)

Defence

Russell Martin: Outstanding moment came in the first period when he somehow clawed away a cross that Depay looked favourite to meet. Did put put a foot wrong on the right side of the defence. (7/10)

Ryan Bennett: Not the easiest on the eye, but the centre-back used his towering frame to head clear on a number of occasions as Rooney found it very difficult to make his mark. (7/10)

Sebastien Bassong: Did not do anything fancy at the back, but cleared when needed and made a couple of vital blocks in the second period when his team started to come under pressure. (7/10)

Marcus Olsson: Was extremely fortunate not to be booked for a late challenge on Martial inside the first 15 seconds and he was late with a couple more as the match progressed. (6/10)

Midfield

Nathan Redmond: Would have been pleased to see Blind at left-back for the home team and it was Redmond's driving run that brought the game's opening goal. Always looked a threat. (7/10)

Gary O'Neil: Picked up the game's first yellow for a late challenge on Martial, but remained a busy presence in the middle of the park before being replaced in the second period. (6/10)

Alexander Tettey: In the team to provide protection to his back four, but it was the 29-year-old that scored his team's all-important second when he found the bottom corner early in the second half. (7/10)

Robbie Brady: Was also booked for the Canaries, but would have enjoyed his return to Old Trafford. Not an awful lot going forward, but provided an excellent layer of protection on the left of the field. (7/10)

Attack

Wes Hoolahan: Operated in the 10 behind Jerome and showed bits and pieces of his quality without really making a serious impression in the final third. Was replaced in the 66th minute of action. (6/10)

Cameron Jerome: Proved a handful with his direct running and it was the striker that opened the scoring in the latter stages of the first period. Played a big role in his team's surprise win at Old Trafford. (7/10)

Substitutes

Jonny Howson: Might feel that he should have started in the middle of the park, but as expected, the midfielder's attitude was spot-on when he entered for the final 25 minutes of action. (6/10)

Youssouf Mulumbu: Almost made it 3-1 in the latter stages when he struck one from just outside the box, but De Gea got down well to deny the midfielder. Looked full of energy during the final 10 minutes. (6/10)

Dieumerci Mbokani: Did not really have a chance of note, but his presence and pace were vital in the latter stages when Norwich needed an out-ball to relieve the pressure. A willing worker up top. (6/10)
