Ashley Young expects Spurs to put in a better display than last Sunday's 5-2 defeat to Arsenal when they host Manchester United later today.

Ashley Young has said that he expects Tottenham Hotspur to be looking to put right their recent 5-2 defeat to Arsenal when they host Manchester United on Sunday.

Harry Redknapp's side let a two-goal lead slip as they were humiliated by their local rivals at the Emirates Stadium last Sunday.

Despite the heavy loss, Young believes that Spurs will put in a better performance against the Red Devils at White Hart Lane this weekend.

"I think you expect a reaction from any team that has been beaten like that," said Young.

"They are going to be at home and they will want to turn around that defeat. We know they are going to be up for the game. Everybody has setbacks but the way you respond is important. We responded magnificently after the defeat to City."

United can close the gap back to two points on Premier League leaders Manchester City with a win in north London.
