Morgan Schneiderlin: "All respect to Watford"

Morgan Schneiderlin is full of respect for Watford after they give his Manchester United side a "demanding game".

Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has recognised the performance that Watford put in during their clash at Old Trafford tonight.

The hosting Red Devils won the encounter 1-0 thanks to Juan Mata's 83rd-minute strike, yet the scoreline would have had a much different look had Watford converted some of the 13 chances that they created.

After the final whistle, Frenchman Schneiderlin admitted that United had been part of a "demanding game".

"Happy to win such a demanding game. All respect to Watford who fought all the way," he wrote on Twitter.

Next up for United is a trip to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon.
