Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he convinced France midfielder Yann M'Vila to move to Loftus Road by claiming that he could join Manchester United in the future.
The 22-year-old is expected to complete a move to Loftus Road this week and the former Tottenham Hotspur boss has insisted that impressing at QPR could be his stepping stone to the Premier League's elite.
"I told him that he would come here and be a good player and if he does well, if we stay up, in 18 months he could get a move to Manchester United, or Arsenal, or Chelsea, if that is what he is looking for," the Daily Mail quotes Redknapp as saying.
"In the meantime he could come here and we put him on the stage and show what he can do. If we can build a team then hopefully he will stay with us. If not he will put himself on the stage for bigger things."
Meanwhile, Marseille striker Loic Remy is expected to finalise a move to the struggling club today.
