Bookmakers make David Moyes the clear favourite to be Manchester United's next manager after Sir Alex Ferguson.

The majority of bookmakers have made David Moyes the odds-on favourite to replace Sir Alex Ferguson as the next manager of Manchester United.

The 50-year-old has spent the last 11 years in charge of Everton, but his contract at Goodison Park is due to expire in the summer and as yet no agreement has been reached over an extension to his deal.

He started the ongoing campaign as a 6/1 shot to take over at Old Trafford, but bookies are now offering odds of just 1/2.

That has resulted in speculation that Moyes will leave the Toffees this summer to become Ferguson's assistant, with the view to him taking over from his fellow Scot in the near future.
